Meet Collin Hughes
He's our wedding photographer.
After doing quite a bit of research and communicating with several photographers, Dotty found Collin through the blog all the mountains. We loved the look of Cavalier Essentials, discovered that he shoots weddings and emailed him, hoping he would be able to make a trip out to Provence this September. After a video chat about our wedding, Collin told us he was in.
Collin is a young, energetic photographer who lives in Minnesota, but plans to move out to New York this summer. We are both very excited about working with him.

The highlight of our trip
Our trip to Asia was one big food tour. Riding back in a cab from the airport, we searched for Lao restaurants in New York City. Sadly, there are none.

Laos
I finally went through my photos from our trip to Asia. These were taken in the sleepy town of Luang Prabang, Laos. With snow sitting outside my window, these really make me wish I was back there right now.

A bunch of us five years ago went sledding in Central Park one winter afternoon several years ago. I took this shot while sliding down and Java was chasing me.
I really like the rawness of this photo. Java looked so young and energetic. He was really innocent. I guess we all were.
